Capital Fund 1 recently disclosed that it suffered a data breach that compromised the sensitive personal data of thousands of individuals.

What Happened?

On July 12, 2024, an unauthorized party accessed Capital’s computer system, resulting in unauthorized access to consumers’ sensitive information, including names, driver’s license or state ID numbers, dates of birth, financial account numbers, and Social Security numbers.
