Inspira Financial Trust recently disclosed that it suffered a data breach that compromised the sensitive personal data of thousands of individuals.
What Happened?
Between December 2024 and January 2025, a third-party call center representative improperly accessed consumers’ sensitive data, including names, mailing addresses, previous employers, account numbers, account balances, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers.
On February 20, 2025, after completing an investigation of the incident, Inspira filed a notice of data breach and sent out data breach letters to those who were affected.
